Tokaj-Hegyalja is an increasingly popular destination for cycling, thanks to the high-quality and well-marked Eurovelo 11 route through the area and the natural wonders that can be visited. The visitor centre’s bicycle base offers the possibility to rent bicycles and to inspect your own bikes.
The Tokaj Wine Region’s largest rental ebike fleet
Explore the possibilities of electric cycling through the varied terrain of the wine region. Modern bicycles with a unique appearance can be rented by individuals or companies.
In the Wine Bike E-bike rental of Tokaj Wine Region Development Nonprofit Ltd., it is possible to rent 20 MTB and 23 trekking bikes. With electric bicycles, the experience of freedom is guaranteed in such a way that the sporting value is also preserved, since in addition to the motor built into the bicycle, the work of the muscles is still necessary. Both younger and elder people can enjoy the benefits of electric assistance, as it is possible to cover longer distances with less effort. The electric bicycles with torque sensors are equipped with a high-performance battery and powerful engines with a range of up to 80-100 km. The bikes are equipped with Shimano disc brakes and gears, and any rough terrain is smoothed out by the first telescope.
